No farmers, no food. Many of us will have seen these posters dotted around the UK and even more so if you live in a rural area like we do. This is not just a slogan but is a stark reminder that without farmers we would all go hungry.
Whilst many of us normal folk support farmers it would seem the current Government is against them. As of 2026 many farm owners will now have to pay extra taxes upon death to transfer farms to other family members so that they can continue to earn a living.
Unfair indeed and while we cant do anything directly we can show our support by wearing this rather catchy tshirt with its play on words design.
